About The Designer:
Kat is a local designer living in Los Gatos. She worked in the floral industry for over 18 years and started Kat's Flower Affair 3 years ago. Using sustainable practices that are kind to the earth is something she strives to accomplish with each wedding or event she creates for. Her love for flowers began as a small child in her Grandmother's garden and she is an avid gardener herself. Although she is a small Urban gardener she has focused on growing mostly flowers that she can use in her design work. In the short 3 years she has been on her own she has developed relationships with several small flower farms in the Santa Cruz area. Supporting local farmers and using as much local product is a key part of her business plan. She prides herself in giving back to her community and was just awarded the Ambassadorship for a wonderful project that spreads kindness through the flowers she grows in her garden.
