It’s been too long! Let’s COFFEE TAWK again!
Even though the museum remains temporarily closed, we’re brewing up a NU virtual cup with Coffee Tawk to Go! Join us every month for online tours of our current exhibitions, conversations with local collectors and enthusiasts, interviews with exhibiting artists, and other cool fun stuff.
Ever thought of taking a photo without using a traditional camera or your phone? It’s hard to imagine, but our new exhibition, Image + Object, features 4 Bay Area artists who do just that by practicing alternative process photography. Curator, Allison Railo will lead a tour and explain the artists’ unique approach to creating the unreproducible photographs featured in this exhibition -- from the utilization of textiles, to collaborating with the environment, each work is inimitable.
And, bonus offer! After the Tawk, we’ll draw the name of one lucky winner of a cheeky artwork by Santa Cruz artist, Eli Torres, inspired by our recent annual campaign. Eligible raffle participants are folks who “rolled with us” and donated $100 or more to our recent annual campaign.
