Dive head first into the eclectic world of wire-wrap jewelry design led by Blue Orb Jewelry artist and designer, Kathryn Janoff. In this workshop, students will create two pairs of “pierced-ear” earrings that explore the basics of jewelry-making including, earring design development, material experimentation, and current trend exploration. Bring a friend and have fun designing timeless works of wearable art.
About the Instructor:
Kathryn Janoff is a local artist who designs and crafts her unique jewelry under the name of Blue Orb Gallery. Her love of natural gemstones and art glass, Czech glass, color, and pattern, goes way back to childhood and has influenced her many original designs. Note: Advanced registration is preferred. For same-day registration, please allow for additional time to register, and make sure to bring the supplies listed on the materials list. Workshops start on time; please allow 30 minutes for parking.
