Over the course of this two day workshop, students will complete two portraits exploring the fundamentals of painting the head from life with emphasis on proportion, construction of the head, and value studies. In addition, students will delve into color mixing with special attention to skin tones, thus resulting in use of a limited palette.

This workshop is suitable for students with preliminary painting and drawing experience with the figure.
