Every Saturday and Sunday from 12pm-4pm check out what we're building, making, and creating in our Open Studio hours! NUMU's Open Studio offers visitors of all ages a hands-on opportunity to explore, discover and create. Ages 4+, no new entry after 3:30pm. All children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. 

Carp windsocks are hung in Japan from April through May to celebrate Children's Day and the hope that the family's children will grow up brave. Put together and decorate a carp windsock in honor of Children's Day, then hang it up in front of your house!
