Stay-Cation Summer Camp | Hipster Craft Shack
Tuesday, June 28 | 9:30am - 12pm | Adults of all ages | $25 Drop-In
Why should kids have all the fun? Take a trip back to summer camp with our Stay-Cation Summer Camp for adults! Hang out with friends in our 2016 adult version of the old camp Craft Shack at NUMU. Learn how to do updated versions of the crafts you loved as a kid. Use indigo and Japanese-style Shibori folding to make fashionable tie dyed table runners. Or make funky mod jewelry using Shrinky Dinks. You can learn how to make fun friendship bracelets in all kinds of patterns for you, your friends and family. We may even pull out the macrame... For snack breaks there will be home made granola bars and healthy juice-based drinks instead of gorp and bug juice - with recipe cards to take home.
