In support of our exhibition Colors Lines | History of the Negro Baseball League, the NUMU Black Box will be screening a selection of baseball themed films. Come early to see the exhibit, stay late for movie night. #NUMU_Nights
Moneyball (2011) was directed by Bennett Miller and based on Michael Lewis' 2003 nonfiction book of the same name. It tells the story of the Oakland A's general manager Billy Beane's successful attempt to assemble a baseball team on a lean budget by employing computer-generated analysis to acquire new players.
