In support of our exhibition Colors Lines | History of the Negro Baseball League, the NUMU Black Box will be screening a selection of baseball themed films. 

A League of Their Own (1992) was directed by Penny Marshall and tells the fictionalized account of two sisters who joined the first female professional baseball league (All-American Girls Professional Baseball League) and struggled to help it succeed amidst their own growing rivalry.
