OURSELVES AND OTHERS: WORKS BY MARY ANN HENDERSON, DEBORAH MATLACK AND CLAIRE VERBIEST

The downstairs galleries will feature Ourselves and Others: Mary Ann Henderson, Deborah Matlack and Claire Verbiest, a portraits exhibition by the three local and well‐known artists. The exhibition, hung salon style, is a meditation on the human figure. In describing her passion about the subject Claire Verbiest frequently refers to words by Mary Jean Mailloux, “There is nothing as humbling as drawing, sketching, painting the human body. Young, old, middle aged, it is such a thing of beauty and wonder.”
