Practice artistic observational skills and produce highly realistic drawings in a studio environment. Lessons will include classical methods of rendering form in graphite, charcoal and chalk on a variety of papers. These skills are applicable to all areas of art, including modern digital media.

This is a fun and exciting drawing class where students will start with warm ups concentrating on composition and lay out, character introduction, color theory, speech balloons and lettering, drawing expressions and basic drawing anatomy (especially how to draw hands). Price includes all art supplies, handouts, student folders, plastic comic pages, color copying and lamination of character cards. This class is designed for the student who is interested in designing characters which will later be incorporated into their own comic book.

These workshops are taught by professional cartoonists, animators  and illustrations from Kids Creative Adventures.

Build and program a variety of "smaller" LEGO ® creations, to jumpstart your imagination. These are not just robots! You will build and program a spider, a roller coaster, a remote control vehicle, and more. Taught by Elizabeth Greer. 

Every thursday, September 17 - November 19. Space is limited and reservations are required. Pre-registration, limited to 10 students, ages 7 and up.
